This page explains what Let It Bee keeps about you and why, as required by the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Short version: we keep what we need to deliver honey and answer your emails, and nothing else.

What we collect

• When you order: your name, email, phone number and delivery address, and what you bought. We need these to deliver the order and to contact you about it.
• When you join the harvest list: your email address, used only to tell you when honey is ready.
• Payment: handled entirely by PayFast. We never receive or store card numbers or bank details. We keep only PayFast’s reference for the payment.

We do not use tracking cookies, analytics, or advertising pixels.

Where it is kept

Order details are stored with Supabase in the European Union (Ireland), and emails are sent through Resend. Harvest- list addresses are kept in our GoHighLevel account. Each of these providers protects data to at least the standard POPIA requires, which is the basis on which it leaves South Africa.

How long

Order records are kept for five years, as South African tax law requires. Harvest-list addresses are kept until you ask to be removed.

Your rights

You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (except where the law requires us to keep an order record). Write to info@letitbee.co.za. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
