Terms of sale

These terms apply to anything bought from letitbee.co.za. The shop is run by Let It Bee (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2024/266610/07, a family apiary at 2 Becker Street, Ladismith, 6655, Western Cape, South Africa. Placing an order means you accept these terms.

Who can order

We sell and deliver within South Africa only. You must be 18 or older to place an order.

Prices and payment

Prices are in South African rand and are the full amount you pay, plus the courier fee shown at checkout. Payment is taken by PayFast; we never see or store your card details. An order is confirmed only once PayFast tells us the payment succeeded, at which point you receive a confirmation email. If a price was shown incorrectly, we will contact you before dispatch and you may cancel for a full refund.

Stock

Honey is a harvest, not a factory product. If, despite our stock count, we cannot fulfil part of an order, we will tell you and refund that part in full.

Delivery

Orders are handed to a courier within three working days of payment, and you receive an email with the tracking number. Delivery times depend on the courier and your area; small towns and farms can take longer. Please give a physical address where someone can receive a parcel, and a phone number the courier can call.

Cancelling and returns

Your rights under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act and the Consumer Protection Act are set out on our Returns page, which forms part of these terms.

The honey itself

Our honey is raw and unfiltered. It will crystallise over time, which is natural and not a fault; stand the jar in warm water to soften it. Raw honey is not suitable for infants under one year.
